Sat, May 31st, 2014 Bill & Linda met me at the Winter Park Art Festival and now I'm creating a bamboo wall art piecel for their newly renovated master bathroom. This location is perfect for a piece of undulating wall art.
Two murals are made. Each has different lines - but the real difference will come in color. I'll glaze both with a cool blue surface, much like the mural shown below. I'm working with their grey floor tile and the wall color to create a perfect accent piece.
I used a slate grey stain on the background of this first mural with green on the bamboo stalks and accents of blue on background.
The second wall art mural has a brighter blue background with green stalks and red leaves. Bill and Linda looked at both murals and decided the quieter slate grey/blue/green mural was their pick. But wait...I decided to deliver rather than ship it and once in the home...they switched. This vibrant blue bamboo mural now hangs next to the shower in their master bath. Thank you both so much for making me a part of creating a beautiful bathroom!
